Quick and healthy citrus salmon recipe for your Instant Pot air fryer
Looking for a flavour-packed meal that’s healthy and done in under 10 minutes? This Instant Pot citrus salmon recipe brings bold, zesty flavours together with the ease of air fryer cooking. Moist, flaky salmon pairs beautifully with a citrus and Sriracha butter, making it a perfect weeknight dinner.

Ingredients
- 750 g salmon fillet
- Thumb-size piece (approx. 8 g) fresh ginger, peeled
- 1 garlic clove
- 40 g softened butter
- 1 tbsp Sriracha
- 1 lemon
- 1 orange
- Salt & pepper
- Your favourite sides (see ideas below)
Preparation method
Make the citrus butter
- In a small bowl, combine the softened butter with grated garlic and ginger.
- Add the zest of the orange and lemon, then stir in the Sriracha.
- Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
Preheat the air fryer
- Preheat the Instant Pot air fryer by selecting the Grill function at 205°C for 8 minutes.
Prepare and grill the salmon
- While preheating, slice the orange.
- Once hot, place the orange slices into the basket.
- Place the salmon fillet on top and spread the citrus butter generously over the fish.
- Close the lid and grill for 8 minutes. For a more well-done center, add 2 extra minutes.
Cooking time may vary slightly depending on the thickness of the salmon.
Serve
- Remove the salmon from the basket and squeeze over fresh lemon juice.
